By Your Faith

As Christians we live by faith because we are saved by faith, as we pray by faith, walk by faith and act by faith. The Bible says ‘without faith it is impossible to please God’ (Heb. 11:6). But faith works within our relationship with God. You can’t have faith for something that is contrary to the plan of God for your life; it will not come to pass. Faith is not passive, it requires action (v. 20).
Just saying you believe in God will not get you into heaven. Satan too believes in God. Faith is not just believing that God is; it is obeying God, speaking His Word, and believing that God will change your circumstances, according to His will for you. In pursuit of your purpose Satan will always try to challenge your faith. He will come against you through people who are evil and with circumstances to deceive and distract you. He will try to stop you from fulfilling your destiny but it’s up to you to keep the faith, walk by faith and not by sight, to fight the good fight, to speak to the storms in your life, and to walk on water and conquer your fears.
If you sit back and wait for God to make everything easy, you will accomplish nothing. Pursuing your destiny will be fun, fulfilling, and rewarding, but it will be a battle to the end. Always remember, God has guaranteed you victory if you follow His plan. You will meet resistance but you must decide to fight the good fight of faith (1 Tim. 6:12). Christians must have a fighting spirit and the willingness to take God’s destiny by faith. Our faith must lead us to act on our faith.
How can you put your faith into action today?
