Keep Moving

Part 1

Wednesday January 8th, 2020

It’s the eighth day of the New Year. How many of your resolutions have you started working on? It’s time to get moving! There is a life we know we are supposed to be living. It’s time to get working!

Maybe life got complicated with a myriad of things. But we have a whole New Year ahead of us. Let’s make it count. A new start, everyday an opportunity. Keep moving. Let’s go for Jesus. It’s time. It’s time to Know God, Experience Change, Discover Purpose and Make a Difference. It’s time to get moving with our lives.

Are you making excuses for not pursuing your purpose? There will always be excuses, but don’t be guided by your fears; be guided by your purpose. In Proverbs 22:13 we read, ‘The loafer says, There’s a lion on the loose! If I go out, I’ll be eaten alive!

Don’t observe the wind, waiting for favourable conditions to sow. Solomon encourages us to do work even if we believe the condition for working is unfavourable (Eccl. 11:4). The truth is, many times what we may see as unfavourable turns out to be another excuse for not doing what we know we were born to do. Solomon reminds us that a seemingly unfavourable condition could in fact be the work of God, so keep moving. Don’t quit. Don’t give up. Stop folding your arms, get the work done!

Are you fearful of starting a dream God has placed in your heart? Are you in an uncomfortable position and are thinking of quitting? Today, I want to encourage you to keep moving! Keep believing! Don’t consider the wind.
